How much does it cost to learn to fly?

Depending on the route you take to get in the air, we offer a wide range of lessons, to suit all budgets and tastes:
• 30-minutes - £ 175.00
This includes a circuit of the airfield and a flight briefing
• 45-minutes - £ 230.00
This usually allows for an around-island flight and some aircraft handling; a flight briefing is included as standard

Is there a weight/age limit to take a trial flight or learn to fly with Jersey SkyWalker?
All persons over the age of 14 are eligible to take a trial flight or learn to fly with Jersey SkyWalker. A form of Government ID (a driving license or passport) will be asked for. Younger children can fly with us but must be accompanied by an adult if under 14, and tall enough to operate the aircraft controls. Please note that flying lessons only count towards the grant a pilot’s licence for those aged 14 and above. Whilst there is no weight limit, there are operational limitations on the aircraft. As a guideline, we would suggest that 36 stone combined weight for participant and observer for the 4 seat experience. Weights quoted are approximate – please contact us if you are unsure / borderline.
